Survey Findings Highlight Importance of Girls’ Mental Health

Although Girl Scouts has been helping girls become stronger leaders for over a century, the organization has needed to expand their focus over the last few years to include mental health. A recent article in Newsweek notes that a custom research study conducted by Wakefield Research on behalf of Girl Scouts of America shows that more than half of girls ages five through 13 think the idea of being a grown-up sounds scary.
