Shadow AI Is Becoming a Major Workplace Challenge
A recent survey conducted by Wakefield Research on behalf of PagerDuty found that employees are increasingly turning to unauthorized AI tools at work, with two-thirds of office professionals reporting they have used AI despite believing they may not be allowed under company policy. The findings suggest many workers may feel existing AI restrictions are holding back their professional development, while others may believe they understand AI better than their organizations’ leadership and technology teams.
