A Wakefield Research PR survey for the Gerber Life College Plan was featured in the USA Today Snapshot – the second time this week. The survey reported that more than half of parents (54 percent) have given up cable TV to pay for their child’s education. Parents also sacrificed babysitters (45 percent), all of their vacation days (42 percent), their cellphone (27 percent) and visits to the dentist (22 percent).
