We say it all the time: there just aren’t enough hours in the day! But what if — in a hypothetical, magical world — you could sneak in an extra hour to do whatever you wanted? Would you pay for it, and how much?
That’s what Zico wanted to find out. They teamed up with Wakefield Research to conduct a survey and find out just how many people would put a price tag on some extra free time.
They found that of those surveyed, 58 percent would be willing to pay for an extra hour each day (on average, they’d pay more than $2,725!). Respondents also admitted that they’d use the extra hour on themselves instead of dedicating it to extra work. An overwhelming 91 percent said they would power down and spend the time offline, reading, exercising, cooking, playing an instrument, taking pictures or writing a blog.
