A Wakefield Research PR survey for NIC Inc. was featured in the USA Today Snapshot. The survey reported the longest periods of time that Americans have spent waiting at a government agency office such as the DMV or election office. More than 1 in 5 Americans (22%) have waited 61 minutes or more, a quarter have spent 31-60 minutes (26%) and 16-30 minutes (25%), while 12 percent of have waited 6-15 minutes, and a lucky 11 percent of Americans have spent less than 5 minutes waiting at a government agency.
