IT Executives Lack An Understanding of Their Employees’ AI Skills
A Wakefield Research and Pluralsight custom PR survey of 1,200 executives and IT professionals is featured in CIO Dive. While many organizations are introducing company-wide artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives, an overwhelming 90 percent of executives do not fully grasp their team’s actual AI proficiency and skill. In fact, 4 in 5 employees (81 percent) express confidence in their AI skills, but only 1 in 5 (12 percent) have had significant experience working with AI. The disconnect reveals that employees and leaders have a lot to gain from open communication.
