This week millions of Americans will be sitting down for a festive Thanksgiving meal with friends and family. While no one complains about the delicious meal, there are, however some complaints behind the scenes by those that prepare the feast.
It turns out that when it comes to preparing holiday meals, Americans have a few pet peeves, and the grocery store is the source of many of those frustrations. According to a Wakefield Research and Schwan’s Home Service survey, going to the grocery store is the biggest annoyance for nearly two-thirds of Americans (61 percent), followed by cleaning up after holiday entertaining (20 percent). With millions of people doing their Thanksgiving shopping this week, it’s understandable that many Americans are irritated by the long lines at the register and overcrowded parking lots.
No matter the annoyances and frustrations that go hand-in-hand with Thanksgiving, remember to enjoy your time off from work, loosen your belt and celebrate with friends and family this week!
