Eyes glazed over from staring into your work computer every day? Or maybe you’re eager to explore a new city outside of your backyard? Perhaps it’s time for a quick trip.

Today, Hotwire released its picks for best U.S. cities for quick trips – getaways of 72 hours or less. The travel booking site analyzed and scored over 10,000 data points and 250 cities on three main factors: best bang for your buck, ease of arrival and things to do.

“Both our internal data and last-minute traveler survey support a rising demand for ‘quickie’ trips,” Hotwire President Neha Parikh told USA TODAY by email.

“Millennials aren’t approaching travel the same way as their parents,” said Parikh. “They’re prioritizing short getaways, taking an average of more than five short trips per year with 84% having booked a trip one week or less from their departure date.”

Hotwire ranked the top 10 cities for each of four population categories: large, medium, small and micro cities.

Topping the major metro ranking, for cities with more than 600,000 people, was Las Vegas. Atlanta ranked highest for medium-size cities with populations between 300,000 and 599,999. Orlando, Florida, topped the list for small cities, with a population between 150,000 and 299,999. Newport Beach, California, was ranked the top quick getaway spot for micro cities, with a population under 150,000.
