Confidence in Girls Starts with Supportive Adults

A recent survey conducted by Wakefield Research on behalf of Girl Scouts of the USA found that 54% of girls ages 5–13 say becoming an adult feels scary or overwhelming. The findings, featured in SheKnows, also highlight commentary from Girl Scouts of the USA CEO Bonnie Barczykowski, who noted that girls today are growing up in a rapidly changing world and benefit most from supportive adults who can help them build confidence, navigate challenges, and develop lasting life skills as they grow.
