Americans Prioritize Household Chores Over Colorectal Screenings

Screening for colorectal cancer is something most people know is important, but may put at the bottom of the to-do list when life gets busy. A new custom survey from Wakefield Research and Colorectal Cancer Alliance (CCA) reveals that more than half of U.S. adults (51%) prioritize household tasks over health screenings like those for colon cancer. In fact, 69 percent of adults would rather file their taxes than undergo a colonoscopy. The survey findings are featured in Newsweek and highlight the importance of early detection.
