Quick…where is your closest digital device? A recent study by Wakefield Research for CourseSmart and Kwittken & Co. landed on the front page of Monday’s USA Today.
According to the PR survey, the longest 50% of college students can go without using digital technology is 30 minutes or less. Seems like class is not just about lecture notes anymore, but also includes Facebook status updates, tweets, and Instagram’d photos these days.
Just a third (33%) of college students can go more than an hour without taking a peek. So while collegiate athletes train for the physical endurance needed for sports, the average college student needs some more training to get their digital endurance in check. Devices down, arms up.
